Optical Fibre Compound

The non-conductive electrical property and the hydrophobic nature of polyisobutylene’s make them ideally suited for Cable Compound application.
Very low chloride content and the unique chemical structure with very little trace or nil impurities offer very high level of oxidative stability and resistance to oxidation and gas evolution under electrical stress.
The wide range of viscosity of KVIS polyisobutylene’s grades enables the manufacturer to match their application needs without further blending, unlike mineral oils.
Application of polyisobutylene’s in electrical / fibre optic cables include impregnants for dielectrics, cable oils, gels and potting compounds, flooding and filling compounds for copper and fibre-optic cables.
